How we think
Everything we do is guided by what we have learnt from practical experience and rigorous research. The best way to improve our own performance and that of our clients is to continue to capture, share and reapply learnings.
We think that …
- change is on-going, living and dynamic, not pre-set or prescriptive
- people are naturally curious and well-intended and can be engaged to bring about the desired movement
- successful change leadership involves mastering a contrasting set of capabilities. They are a) “creating edge” which is dynamic, enabling, trusting, enthusiastic and calls for individual accountability, versus b) “containment” which sets a few hard rules and limits within which people can operate. Another contrasting set of capabilities are those which a) demand a focus on detail, knowing and accuracy versus b) an ability to “let go”, not know and make space to allow things to emerge that will support sustainable business performance improvement
- there is always more to know …we seek to understand and work with dilemmas and from those, to enable you to generate options and choices for the solutions that will be relevant for you
- nothing happens by chance …every intervention counts
- change happens in the moment
