I have worked for over 20 years with a range of financial services and public sector organisations as a organisational change consultant, business and executive coach. I use my experience to work with clients at a systemic level to help them develop the clarity vision, values and behaviours needed for people to be at their best. I am an ICF qualified executive coach, and accredited programme and change manager. I also am a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and have post graduate and masters qualifications in OD and people development.
I am a procurement and supply chain specialist with a career spanning the public and private sector. I have worked as an in-house change consultant, and have 3 years client-side experience in delivering a large scale complex change programme using Transcend approaches. I have a passion for the development of leaders at all levels in an organisation, enabling the creation of sustainable capacity to manage complex and on-going change.
I really like Transcend’s way of thinking about how sustained change happens in organisations. From my experience, listening to people, trusting and involving them in change is key - at different levels throughout an organisation-to achieving sustained individual and organisational change, and performance.
My career has focussed on working with change, providing an approach to the development, growth and increased effectiveness of organisations and the people working within. I have a strong operational business background, having held global Board level IT roles for blue chip companies and government. Typically my clients want to make significant shifts in their culture and approach to work, and I challenge them to discover their own solutions and achieve their objectives. I am inspired by working with those who want to perform at their best, I am a qualified coach and use Transactional Analysis theory to support my work.
I am a Non-Executive Associate at Transcend and have been supporting the team in a marketing and business development role for seven years. Having spent my early career in consumer markets, I have made a specialisation of business-to-business marketing, particularly in Professional Services and Technology sectors. My marketing agency Mann Wardle Group was acquired by Saatchi & Saatchi in 1987 following which I spent six years at Saatchi as chairman and CEO of several subsidiaries. During this time I founded specialist b2b agency Saatchi Business. I worked at Reuters for four years as Group Marketing Operations Director responsible for the Reuters brand, market research and CRM, and have held a number of global interim marketing director roles.
I support our clients as a consultant, coach, trainer of coaches and coach supervisor. I enjoy seeing the impact of our work developing over time and the strong relationships with my clients that result. As a consultant I have spent 15 years working across public and private sectors but my background spans experience in marketing, media, research and sustainable development. I particularly enjoy working with leaders and their teams in the moment, naming and then shifting those patterns together that will create lasting change their organisations.
I spent ten years refining my consulting skills amongst the most senior leaders in Shell, one of the world’s largest companies. I have been privileged to work directly with, and learn from, some of the best-known authorities in the field of business improvement and organisational effectiveness.

I am the owner of Transcend. My work is characterised by assisting organisations, teams and individuals to explore and improve their performance. I bring over 25 years of practical and hard earned operational and strategic experience with roles as a senior commercial manager, facilitator, coach and change leader working in both private and public sectors across the world. I combine wide experience with professional qualifications in psychology, accountancy, supply chain management, and psychotherapy. I especially enjoy creating developmental environments where people can explore and integrate new ideas, and bring increasing authenticity to their work.
I work with Transcend and their clients providing research design and input as well as analysing diagnostics used in their work with clients.
I have experience as an organisational consultant and am a professor of Organisational Behaviour and HR Management and the Director of the University of Southampton Management School. I am a Chartered Psychologist and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society as well as a Principal Member of the Association of Business Psychologists.
I have been with Transcend from the start. I run the office, I am a vital support to the team, and I answer your calls and liaise with your assistants to schedule meetings.
